Cutting a sliver off of the indestructible helmet would have demonstrated the knife's sharpness without ruining the helmet.

My only problem with this clip is that here he calls it strange as if he didn't know what it was, but later in the season, all of a sudden he knew how to fix the knife. Poor acting from the bear, go back to making Coca-Cola commericals.

Why did he destroy the Helmet? That was so useless. If he just said, that he was a friend of Lyra and that she is in great danger, the Bear would have come with him without hesitation. But now his precious helmet is distorted. Why?! To remind the viewer of how mighty the knife is?

How does it not cut a rift everytime it cuts something, if he can cut through air to travel through time and space then why when he cut the helmet didnt it also cut a rift ?!?!?!?!
