Unlimited range solar powered electric bike without a trailer. I will show you how I mount the solar panels, how to charge the battery on the go, and how far I can go on a single charge. Is it going to be unlimited range? Let's find out!
The Ebike shown in the video is an Engwe Engine Pro model

Could you make a lightweight frame for the solar panels to sit over you like a roof? You get shade and you don’t shade the panels.

I've had a 100w solar panel on my bike for about a year and a half now. I've got over 5 thousand miles on it and use it as my daily commuter. I've got a 10 mile total commute.

It's like magic. I don't understand how a whole lot more people aren't doing this.

Good job on the bike. Maybe drop back to a single panel to have a narrower bike.

The flexable solar panels would be great for this...no heavy frame and you can shape it to your design.

I thought those were normal roads at first, but it looks like a highway system for bicycles. Awesome video 👏

This is a great solution for people that cant charge their bite at work, as long as you can carry or install one solar panel on your bike / the floor it's awsome

Well done! Good advice on the controller, but that one doesn't seem to be available in the UK... not that we have much sun anyway 😥

You can add bigger capacitors to the first boost converter to make the output more stable

with that controller best to not have panels that produce more power than battery can handle in amps. there no limit accept for the max power. the green one has amp limits, awesome video, solar ebikes and transportation is amazing!

you can put one solar panel on front as well and maybe mount a roof solar which is flexible

You could make a enclosure for the bike put more panels above the drive like a roof. That would be awesome.

Maybe readjust the panels to a tent type configuration to get more afternoon sun

Also, maybe you can add one or two panels in front of the bike as well, but should consider wind and lift power, (so it should be slightly aimed downward)

Mind disclosing this bike trail? Looks very peaceful and not as congested as most others!

All you need now is a motor and sun tracking photoelectric device foe your panel. This way youd get optimal sun at all times. When its there obviously lol

Can you explain how the bike can charge and power the motor at the same time?
