Classic! This is what the Church calls redemptive suffering. In our sufferings. And this is what Saint Paul was talking about to the Colossians 1:24 telling them that Christians are called "to make up for what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ", namely to unite our suffering with those of Christ and to offer them up for our good and for the good of all humanity. Christ not only came to remove our sins but our suffering and by doing that in our baptism we become that new creation that Christ came into this world by doing the will the Father, namely to become a new creation. This is how the father is redeeming the rest of the world.
