Alex Taylor's 1955 Chevy has been a fixture in the drag-and-drive community for a while...hard to imagine that at one point, this tri-five Chevy was the junker behind the shop! We caught up with Alex and her father, Dennis Taylor, at the 2022 PRI show and got the details on the car...and the new engine that will eventually replace the 509ci unit currently underhood. But for now, with help from Holley Dominator EFI and MSD Pro 600 ignition, they are getting the car ready for the 2023 race season.

Alex and Dennis are a top notch team - builder and driver, also the Mom and sister that make things happen behind the scenes. Class acts, every one of them.

Two of the most underrated builders. Most definitely one of the most unassuming drivers.

Dennis and Alex are a team to be reckoned with.

She built the entire car herself! Sets it up for each track, tunes it and drives it! Not sure what the other guy does.
