That sucks. I keep getting stuck on a black screen after an online race until I completely close the game (PS5). It's been happening more frequently. Hopefully this patch released today addresses this.

I clear the memory cache everyday since the first or second week when they released a warning about it potentially messing up your game. RIP to that win

I've literally not had a single crash or cock up like this since day 1 :/

Oddest thing I saw was in a daily race some guy qualified P2 and glitched out wit a bad connection on the way in and it literally looked like he had fireworks coming out of a possessed car - janking all over the place with the graphic for bottoming the chassis / exhaust on the ground. Following that for the few dark laps at Bathurst gave me a headache. Race played out ok (he actually won).

Now the driving penalties... that's another story.

Yep, I’d have to agree with this 110%. There’s a lot that PD got right in GT7- I give them credit for that. But sadly, there are a few key things (on my personal list anyway), that really need to be fixed- and that makes GT7 a ‘mixed bag’ at best for me. Not exactly what I was expecting for my $90.

Let's hope that they can address these online races thoroughly and the soonest as possible for this upcoming update or the next.

Problems such as this should not happen or they (Polyphony Digital) can't fully be ready for this year's Nations and Manufacturers Cup competitions respectively.

Two days ago I was racing online at Deep Forest. I started at Pole Position and was leading the race. Only one lap to go..but then suddenly i lost connection to the server....!! ..Damn it! Polyphony please fix!! I dont even know if all the opponents lost the connection too or just me.

Ive been noticing a bug on lobbies (not in sport mode) where when a online race is over, it gets stuck on the results screen and I have to restart the game and this happens 9/10 races online. It's getting very annoying. Anyone else getting this same bug???

Yup. This has happened to me at least half a dozen times while in pole position.
Clearing cache and rebuilding database still doesn’t fix it.

Oh I haven’t had that happen to be before if that show this sucks!!… The only thing that I’ve have experienced is when I’m in a drift lobby and people keep on getting in and getting out which leads to a delay. I’ve never had that in GT Sport so way now?? Yes it looks like they have many fixes to do

It seems like after the last update it has messed a lot of things up. I've now experienced this as well and liveries don't load. Penalty's for absolutely nothing too. Also the one or two car meta is becoming stale. They need to fix a lot of issues with this game asap.

Yep this started to happen to me too random freezes video wise but the wheel keep responding and I get sound. I think it's the PS5 overheating, in placed my had down by the power / ethernet area and it was hotter than expected, pit a fan on it and it's been fine since

Put the Ps5 into safe mode, clear system memory put it in safe mode again and rebuild the database seemed to fix it for me so far. I was getting the exact same crash with audio continuing.
