Sweet fur babies! My favorite Halloween tradition is carving pumpkins with my daughters. After Halloween, we just rotated the pumpkins on our porch & decorated for Thanksgiving. .

Halloween is great at my house. I make my candy and they close the street and have over 200 kids. It’s like a block party for everyone. Have a great retreat. Looking forward to January retreat. Thanks.

My Favorite Halloween memory is that every year we go to my grandmother's for apple cider and pumpkin donuts. I love thinking about that every year, it was something I looked forward to. Grandma made her own donuts and cider. I wish I knew that recipe today!

My daughter was born in mid October and my favorite Halloween memory is of her sitting inside a big hollowed out pumpkin! Too sweet!

Happy Friday! Congratulations on making progress with your LNS--how exciting!! Hooray on your cute new finish, and I love the fabric you chose for backing. Chloe is darling, I have a miniature long haired dachshund, Zoey, that loves to sit in my lap when I stitch. I'm sure there is at least a couple of her hairs in everyone project I do (I count it as a specialty thread). Halloween has always been a fun event, for me and my sisters when we were young, and then for my own children and grandchildren. Now I dress up my dog (this year she is a bumble bee and I am a flower) and pass out candy to anyone that stops by and says the three magic words. Have a great week!!

My favorite memory is going and picking out my costume. That was the days they came in the box and you had the face mask with the elastic string to keep it on. My favorite one was Casper The Friendly Ghosts. Oh to be young again.

My favorite Halloween memories are when our school had a Halloween carnival. We went from classroom to classroom playing games and getting “prizes”. One of the best things was winning a cake in the cake walk!

My favorite Halloween tradition as a child was trick-or-treating at a school of 600 students. Even the teachers would come in costume and it was a day of fun.

My favorite memory is trick or treating with my daughter, my best friend and her son. Our kids are only children so it was so fun to get them together in their costumes for lots of pictures. After they made the rounds, we would go to Becky’s where the kids would dump out all their candy and figure out if one got more candy than the other. A few years my mother-in-law was visiting and would help pass out candy. She had the best wicked witches cackle ever! Thank you for the question. It was nice to reminisce. Have a great week! My Halloween tradition is to put out all the decorations and then we watch a Halloween movie with pizza and pop. Then we get our costumes picked out for Halloween night.

My favorite Halloween memory is that my mom always handmade all of my costumes. My favorite one was a pioneer dress and bonnet that we still have today. Happy Halloween Elayne!

Happy Halloween. I liked going trick or treating with our daughter. She would get so excited to go to decorated houses and just stand back and look at them. The scary ones she would dash away from. One day she complimented a lady homeowner on her front decorations and the homeowner just kept putting handfuls of candy in our daughter's pumpkin as she was talking. We still laugh and laugh about that memory.
