There will never ever be another voice like Ken in this sport. RIP to the true voice of NASCAR. 😔🙏

When they turned the camera to them, I was instantly back in 1993, watching Ken and Ned call Dale home to the win in the Daytona 500. You won't get two better commentators.

Yes, they made a few mistakes. Yes, they are a few steps behind where they use to be. But it was the best thing about the entire broadcast. I do not say this often but 'Thanks NBC.

Squires voice brings back so many memories.

It took them about 3 laps to get into it and get going, then they were golden. Best commentary we've had in a decade probably.

It was so Awesome to hear Gentlemen Ned and Ken Squire call a race again. Probably the best part of the night. Ned sounded like he never stopped calling Cup races on T.V and I wish they would have had Ken and Ned call the last half of the Race. I hope NASCAR does the whole Throwback weekend deal again for next years Southern 500, this weekend was bad ass with all the retro schemes!!

Undoubtedly the best part of the race. I am 15 so I never got to see a live race broadcasted by these awesome legends. I hope this becomes a new darlington tradition

Rest in power to the broadcaster legend Ken Squier. I remembered that race which I will never forget.

They covered a lot more drivers than the regulars do. The regulars focus more on the leaders and what is happening now, these guys jump around the field and tell you what has happened over the night, experts for sure. Glad to say that Ken Squier owns my local short track and is usually there week to week doing driver introductions and race intermission stuff. Ken's great, it was awesome to see him in the booth last night. Just wish they would've called more of the race.

RIP Ken Squier. The only thing that would have made this throwback broadcasting better is if NBC had brought back Bob Jenkins before he had passed in 2021

Never in the history of sports commentating has there ever been 2 greater broadcasters and story-tellers than Ned Jarrett and Ken Squier. Dale's pretty good too, can't wait to hear him call more races in the future. :)

While I never started watching NASCAR until 2004, I did spend a large time of my teenager years going back and rewatching old races from the late 70's, 80's, and 90's. Hearing Squire and Ned was one of the best things that happened in the last several years of the sport.
Not to mention, Ned was ontop of it! I would of had no issues if the Jarrets and Squire just finished calling the rest of the race!

Until tonight never watched a live with Ken and Ned in the booth I think it was amazing and I'm sad that Buddy Baker couldn't be part of this or simply be able to watch this.
