In this video we obtain the values of the sine of 30 degrees and the cosine of 30 degrees. First, we show that a right triangle whose one acute angle is equal to 30 degrees is half of an equilateral triangle, which means that the length of the hypotenuse is twice the length of the opposite leg. That way we get sin of 30 degrees. Using the Pythagorean trigonometric identity and the value of sin of 30 degrees, we are able to calculate cos of 30 degrees.
