UN: Hunger crisis threatens half of Somalia’s young children

Severe drought risks pushing nearly half of Somali children under five into acute malnutrition this year, with hundreds of thousands needing life-saving treatment, according to the United Nations, which called for urgent action.
The country is going through its worst drought in 40 years.
More than half a million farmers and herders have lost their crops and animals.

This is devastating and heartbreaking, the Somali politicians are busy rigging elections that are ongoing right now they expensing millions of dollars to rig the elections and the UN agencies are corrupt like the Somali government and politicians.
The situation on these people is very desperate they need immediate help so I urge everyone to help these people they are indeed needed humanitarian assistance.

The sad reality is media, governments and people of the world will ignore this famine because "catastrophe" has been Somalia's fate for 30+ years. East Africa is truly the worst region in the world.
