I have the same exact scenario as you do and i got a $500 fine as of March 2023. It happened to me on my first week driving for UberEats delivery. Since then, i checked every intersections i crossed and they have pretty cameras installed in all busy intersections in Los Angeles. The cities here are using these cameras as revenue streams which is so pathetic. I am stunned to find out because this $500 fine is ridiculously abusive. and i i would have to work for a week with UberEats just to pay this fine. I know someone in FL who got the same ticket and only have to pay $150 and i heard TX also charges similar as FL. What the fuck is happening here in CA, and why are we allowing this abuse of charges to happen to our own people by the city officials? I understand that camera should be installed to tract traffic violations but it shouldnt cost this much. This is abuse of power and taking advantage of the working hard citizens and saying so, camera should be banned if they cant reduce these fines.

I got a ticket for this yesterday in the mail. It’s $569 and I didn’t come to a complete stop but I was also looking and the intersection was empty as well. I just don’t understand I see people do this all the time and the light never flashes on them but no right when I go through boom it flashes
