Hi, Catholic friend here. Hope you don't mind me dropping by. I enjoyed this video very much! Rabbi Friedman, your wisdom is a gift. I know there are many differences in our faiths, but the similarities in your message and the wisdom you share is very familiar to me. There are some things here that I haven't heard before. Some things I have been taught that you put In a different way. The idea that our purpose is to do what God requires of us, reminds me of something my mother taught me. Forget about what you want and what you need. God has already provided, you just need to see that. Let go of your ego and learn to serve. Serve God and serve others. That is your purpose and that will give you meaning. That's what God wants from you. Its amazing to me how much fighting there is in the world over the few differences, when the similarities are so much more vast and important. Thank you sir, I've learned a few things and have some to think about. God Bless and Mazel Tov to you all!

I know I am not a good person. I surely know I am not a perfect human being. But I will try to serve God with joy and be a blessing to someone around me who has a need. Maybe two people who have a need that I can help them with. And in doing this, I will please them and please God.
