Eric did more with less cause he has more musicality in his playing, ,, all the pyrotechnics & shredding have to come back to this, ,, and they can’t cause it’s a mechanical exercise to shred not a musical one .they have never learnt to express from within which is a true musician, ,, after 50 years of listening & playing music, This is the bottom line, there is no app to download or quick learn method on how to be a musician but a lifetime devotion to the art like all art forms. So put the shred aside & learn if it’s within you to play music.
