We know that God is calling us spend time with Him in prayer. But sometimes it can feel like a waste of time. But is it?

Today, Fr. Mike shares a very special "Sneak-Peak" into an awesome resource for First Reconciliation and First Communion preparation from Ascension: "Renewed" and "Received".

My husband was on drugs a few years ago, I cried to Jesus at home and asked him do u really hear me I need you just please give me a hug. The next day I went to adoration. As I was leaving the church, a lady who also was in adoration with me approached me, she said Jesus wants me to tell you that he hears all your prayers and that he will never forsake you. He also told me to give you a hug. I lost it and couldn’t keep my tears from flowing. I love Jesus

I really needed to hear “It never felt like a waste of time to be in the presence of Jesus.” Thank you, Father.

My first Adoration is Thursday night. Then Saturday night God graces me with his love, mercy and wisdom through baptism. All glory to God and his only begotten Son Jesus Christ. 🙏❤️✝️

After completing the Mass at the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral in October of this year, I cannot forget the 5 minutes of Eucharistic adoration with the priests who celebrated the Mass together. It felt as if Jesus Himself was embracing me

I started going to adoration last May. Simply put it changed my life. Abandoned my mortal sins and found new life

One year we were praying the rosary in front of our Lord in Adoration for 40 days for the end to abortion. I had an illness that prevented me from walking properly. on the last day I got up and felt like something was missing, I realized I could walk normal again. God heald me that day and I didn't even ask him I Love you Lord Jesus with you Will, Tercerfiat 🙏🌬🕊🔥💞🌏🌍🌎🌞🌈🐛🦋😇

I feel a need to be physically near Jesus in the form of the Eucharist. It's like a power pulling me from within, a magnet I can't run away from. When I am in a church I don't want to genuflect in front of the Tabernacle, I want to get down on both knees and bow to the ground in reverence. I can't express it enough - thank you, thank you, thank you Jesus, have mercy on me - a sinner. Eucharistic adoration is a gift more precious than anything on earth, it's food for us, it's balm, it's the real presence of our Father.

I love this so much! There’s a saying that a priest I know says- “During adoration, when you are adoring Jesus, Jesus is also adoring you.” I think about that often when I’m in His Presence in the Blessed Sacrament

THIS SPOKE TO ME SO MUCH! Literally the past couple of days I’ve been going to the Chapel in my school but am always fearful and HIGHLY sensitive to what people would think of me when they saw me going inside the Chapel to pray and just be with God. I mean, who cares? If it’s Jesus I want, it’s He who I’ll focus on. GIVE ME STRENGTH GOD TO NOT CARE ABOUT WHAT OTHERS THINK OF ME. ITS ONLY YOU THAT I PLEASE.

I just officially gave my life to God this Easter 2023 with the Catholic Church. This small heart of mine wants to write music for the the kingdom so badly. Please join my prayers that it be so. And please let me pray for your hearts greatest dreams too

I walk to work everyday and blessed to pass by a tabernacle on my way to work and on my way home. I feel Him calling me to stop by and spend time.

i went to adoration for the first time during lent. it was from 9pm to 10pm on a friday night. there were like 4 other people there. by the end i was shedding tears. i am NOT a cryer. i cry maybe once a year. usually in a moment of extreme indignation, or grief over the death of someone i was close to. but i cried near the end of adoration. i felt like i was on a spiritual high for a couple hours after leaving. i want to go to adoration often

I visit Him every Thursday, in our church, for an hour or more. I have never considered it time wasted...wished it could be longer. Thank you for your video. God Bless. Claire.
