Putin Illegally Annexes Occupied Ukrainian Territory

Russian President Vladimir Putin moved to illegally annex occupied Ukrainian territory today. Putin warned that he’ll do everything possible to defend the territory as his own. NBC News’ Erin McLaughlin reports from Kharkiv on the latest updates.

Russia's Invasion and Annexation are not legal even by Russian standards and definitely not by anyone else's standards. Let's start with the de-nuclearization of Ukraine.
The Budapest Memorandum was an agreement signed in 1994 that provided assurances to Ukraine if it agreed to give up its nuclear weapons. The security agreement had the following assurances:
[1] The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, to respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine
[2] The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their obligation to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine, and that none of their weapons will ever be used against Ukraine
[3] The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their commitment to seek immediate United Nations Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine, as a non-nuclear-weapon State party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, if Ukraine should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used.
This was signed by Sergey Lavrov, Representative of The Russian Federation and Boris Yeltsin of the Russian Federation. Apparently, The Russian Federation and Sergey Lavrov do not keep promises. The United States of America does keep its promises and will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine.

I hope it's just the beginning. All Eastern and Southern regions should be liberated from Ukrainian occupation. Just today Zelenskyy regime deliberately shelled civilians trying to cross into liberated areas killing 24 and wounding many others. We didn't complain when Israel kept illegally "annexing" land in Palestine for the last four decades. Or maybe when Israel illegally "annexed" the Golan Heights from Syria. Not time for us to act hypocritical when another super power does the same.
