One thing they left out of their coverage of the first part and the annexation celebration is WHEN did they begin preparing the staging, lighting, fireworks, and so on in Red Square?

That stage appeared complicated enough that even a good crew of riders would have needed about three days to set it up in the condition it is in.

That would have required them to begin preparing the day before the annexation results were announced.

For that matter, you don't call and order a setup like that at 2 p.m. and expect it to be delivered and operational by 6 p.m.

The staging design and equipment order were most likely placed three months ago.

The Ukrainian President should have tried to heal his relationship with the people in the Donbas. Their leader was ousted from power by an act of aggression rather than by vote giving them reason to oppose new Ukrainian leadership in 2014. Ukraine has had 7 Years to mend that relationship with the region and has failed. Instead of negotiating he and his predecessors relied on military leaders guidance on what to do rather than try and choose a diplomatic resolution. Putin will not stop fighting. Trump being reelected is Ukraine only hope.
