if anyone’s wondering if the nether world border makes this impossible:
the border makes the world 60 mil by 60 mil, in terms of chunks it’s 3.75 mil by 3.75 mil. This means there are (a bit more than) 14 quadrillion chunks. Each chunk generates one vein (1-3, so I’ll just say 2) ancient debris from y8-22 and y5-127, so each chunk gives about 4 debris. This means (excluding bastions) each world has around 56 quadrillion ancient debris, which is much more than the 8 billion required here.

It is possible if you create an ai that spawns in a lot of bots in the game with efficiency V unbreaking 3 netherite pickaxes with constant haste 2. When the inventory gets full of ancient debris it could automatically delete the bot, transfer the ancient debris to a set of furnaces constantly powered by lava buckets, and then instantly create a new bot. Say you have 100 bots at the same time, you could get enough neterite blocks in around 20 years if they mined non-stop
