Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

What a blessing to be living in an area not experiencing wildfires this year. God be with you.

It’s such a pleasure Bea to see you seemingly very happy and carefree. Theo I totally understand young man. I’m about to turn 74 (God willing) and I have arthritis in all my muscles. I hope you feel better soon cause I know you don’t like sitting still.

I know they're not native, but giant sequoias have adapted over millenia to withstand fire. They aren't invasive, grow pretty quickly and are one of the mightiest of the evergreens that the Great Mother has created. I'm on a personal campaign to get people to think more about large trees like mighty oaks that can make it to 800 years sometimes. People plant the instant gratification landscape and fruit trees that max out at 25 ft. but grow quick enough for the planter to get some benefit, and that only live 30-40 years at best. Planting large trees that you will never live long enough to truly appreciate is a sacred act. Cheers!

Dear Bee,
Even is not living in Portugal we can feel your pain. We’re humans and sad to know that those fires could be prevented if only other humans were not the way they’re. Keep safe! Keep strong! ❤

Oh how I wish y'all could hear me shouting through the TV lol. That silt and ash are superb amendments for your gardens especially for root veg!

Hi B&T- It’s always so nice to see both of you. Your dip in the pond seems restorative. 😊 Maintaining Miracle Mountain and protecting it from fire risk certainly is a lot of very hard work! ❤

I'm right there with you, Bea, regarding the fires. We lost almost everything in the Valley Fire in Northern California on September 12, 2015. I still, after 9 years, feel unsettled every time there's a fire within a few counties of me. I find myself reaching out to friends who may be too near a fire. A friend's daughter and her children recently lost her home in a freak Fire, and we went to her with food, a yellow polka-dotted baking pan set, a $ gift, and fun home-sewn pillow cases.! We are in a place now where we can pass on the same blessing that we had received from family and friends. And, empathize as she just talked. ❤

You and Bea make a wonderful team. Supporting one another in your wellness care, and in the projects that are never ending on such a large piece of property. Keep up the wonderful couples building you have going for you. 🥰

OMG you should be about 7 stones Bea, you work so hard physically and certainly put in the foot miles. Shout out to you both for getting in that freezing water, healing properties or not I would have to be bribed. Three gold medals for stacking logs, go girl. Take care, keep safe. 💕 Dorset, UK

Oh Bee and Theo, it's always an enjoyment watching you two share your lives with us. I have been following you two for years, basically since you bought the first Portugal property, and have since watched all of your videos on here. Love living vicariously through you two, living the dream life! Happy to hear of two videos a week, as that mean things are going better for you two! So incredibly happy to hear that knowing it means better health for you two! Excited to see what adventures await!
