I am out of work since 2019 and am so tired of practicing on mannicans it’s frustrating. My lifestyle is so chaotic that being stable so I can work in a salon is a joke. How do you fit forms to flat nails? I have some flat nails and I find I get a gap under 1 side of the form

You make it look so easy. Forms are my nemesis lol. I only do mine and my daughter's nails and keep practicing but to no avail. I was actually just practicing and one nail turned out not too badly but the second one look alien lol. I have med long natural nails so I always just do over lays but would really like to be able to put the forms on correctly. Any tips?

Now, I'm not being funny, but you're saying, in the video, that there is no gap between the nail and the form, but there is though - and that is exactly what I'm struggling with, when applying a nailform - HALP ! xD
I can't seem to get the form flush with the natural nail, and I have been cutting slits, triangles and what not, but there's always some sort of gap and/or "bumps" and edges underneath the sculpted nail, whereit meets the free edge of the natural nails free edge.. WHAT am I doing wrong here? Is it just a matter of practice practice practice or what?
