Please make sure people know that if they have underlying venous insufficiency, spider veins will continue to show up. Sclerotherapy is a temporary solution if you do not treat the underlying disease. Tangelestasias (spider veins) can be caused by different things, but if they are present due to underlying venous insufficiency/reflux, it is best to treat the underlying disease before having slerotherapy done.

My grandma use to have spider veins and I would always look at them in awe and try to trace them in my mind kinda like a connect the dots puzzle. I was a kid so it was fun to me. I miss my grandma.
