too expensive for individual to ship shoes in these days. The shipping is cost about $18 in 2022. It costs time to pack, print label, and drop off the package.

another huge tip is making sure you ALWAYS pay online w/paypal for the discount but selecting the "provide your own box" option, making the dimensions 12x11x8 and making it only 3lbs... i've been doing this for 4+ years and they never weigh it or do anything when you prepay and then drop off at a blue box for packages. I've been doing the USPS Jig for years, lol

Out of all the sneaker videos I've watched, this is hands down the best one. No kidding, very informative especially saving money and time finding the right box! Now I just wanna order the boxes and do these for fun lol.

the post office is catching on to this in my area..i used to do this on all my kicks i mailed out. now the last 2 times. i did this they said i couldnt do it because i altered the box too much..but ima keep doing trying.

What if a buyer says they never got the shoes? This does not come with signature confirmation right? What about delivery confirmation? Who ends up taking the hit at that point?

Been doing this for years. Although my post office won't accept it as medium flat rate since I modified it. So now I just schedule pickup online and my mail man takes it no problem.

There are specific dimensions "allowed" for medium flat rate shipping, at least for bigger size shoes, when those boxes have been altered, they exceed those "allowed" measurements, it is technically no longer in the medium flat rate category, most post offices wont know or care, but its possible the shipment can be rejected and or someone has to pay overages, its happened to me before

Anyone know if this is considered "weatherproof"? Bought Ugg boots off eBay seller and it doesn't fit my kid. So he said ship it back with in a weatherproofed packaging. He shipped it to me in a plastic wrapping that I think you need a hairdryer to shrink it idk what those are called. So two questions here. Is this in the video considered weatherproof and what are those shrinking plastics called? Thanks.

If your not shipping across time zones it's cheaper to use just a plain box .

have you ever gotten a package returned to you? I used your method to deliver shoes using a flat rate box and the postal worker said that it may get returned because it was altered. he let it go through anyway. thanks in advance!
