To be fair, Christmas at The Burrow would be exceptional, Molly’s cooking has just a bit more love in it than the food prepared by the Hogwarts house elves (no offense to the house elves, I know they work so hard to make their delicious feasts and do so with great love, but there’s nothing like the love of a mother).

Yea, we would go to church at midnight then come home to a warm charcoal or wood stove by the bed grilling baguettes. Too poor for presents concept in Vietnam. But we get money on new year and snacks for autumn festival. Looking back now i know it was hard times then but at that time I never realized we were poor.
