all I remember from getting this is the insane lisp I had, the gap between my front teeth, and the weird feeling of my palate expanding a littleee more every night my mom did this. I got used to it but it was rough at first. def worth it but I'm very happy I never have to do this again

I got my expander yesterday and it doesn’t hurt but it feels weird. My lisp became worse, I can’t really swallow and I’m producing way more saliva. It also feels weird to eat and I made the mistake of eating chick-fil-a right afterwards.

It took me an hour to finish eating but other than that it isn’t that bad.

So much fun when you get home and there’s NO FREAKING HOLE to turn with the key! Now I get to look like an idiot and take my daughter back up to the dentist’s office because they didn’t set it up correctly. I didn’t have any problems with my son’s expander. These things are a damn nightmare.
