BMW M2 Competition review from an AMG owner

The Alcantara steering wheel is not standard and you don't need to go into MDM mode to get all the 'pops and burbles.' Sport Plus will suffice. MDM will only affect the amount of 'slip' permitted in the rear before kicking in to prevent you wrapping your car around a tree or similar.

Ditched my CLA45 last year to go M2 Comp. CLA is nice place to be but numb to drive. M2 is just a much more engaging car.

I prefer the pre LCI OG M2, but I wouldn't kick an M2C out of bed !!!

How do you have it in sport handling mode if the M2C doesn't have adaptive dampers?

I'd pick this over the newer M2 without a doubt. the latest BMs are just far too ugly.
As for over an AMG, it;'s a tough one. I'm just so NOT a fan of a 4 cyl. Having said that, they may mean business but BMW engines of late have the worst character of almost any engine out there.
