Patrick Blakeney-Edwards gives us an in-depth look at one of our favourite Revival cars: the 1928 Frazer Nash Saloon. It's an all-consuming experience to race and with an updated engine it is one of the craziest cars to be thrown around Goodwood. #goodwoodrevival

I love these underdog cars. I did not expect it at Revival that it went to podium in qualification.

"Safety is prime concern. Can't red mist." Proceeds to drive sideways on grass in opening lap. Legend.

There's a guaranteed place among heroes in heaven for the soul that ends up dying in this thing.
It's gonna happen.
But don't get it twisted: It's gonna be a fine death. A Warrior's Own.

Patrick sounds like the father of a naughty child. He's not pleased with its behavior, exactly, but he loves the Owlet fiercely. And it's easy to see why. Clearly, the car isn't suited for racing, but it pounds around the course like a very fast bull on a thoroughbred track. Really admirable. Well done!

3:42 Fucking hell, imagine pulling up to a crossroads and there's a 90 year old saloon going sideways.

"as a racing car.... is almost comical", talk about understatement. that thing is a down right giggle machine. i've watched videos of it going hammer and tong with full on racers several times over and enjoyed every moment.

Love this car, love the era of the 1920s and 30s motoring and motor racing. As soon as I saw the rear of the car at 1:13 I understood the reasoning behind the name 'Owlet'. Wonderful.

Wonderful, thanks. This car has become an oddball favorite of mine to watch, though I'm not at all sure sure I'd want to race it myself. I would definitely try it, though.

It was an embarrassingly long time before I realized that Archie Frazer-Nash put his hyphenated name on his cars, it wasn't that his name was Frazer and he used Nash engines.

George Michael in a Frazer Nash... thats what it looks like from here, and there is nothing wrong with that. BRAVO 🏆 ('Careless Drifter' perhaps.... please don't hate me) 😂
