I love the simple imagery in the first art piece, while he’s stabbing another angel (I’m assuming the council) he’s holding the blade instead of the handle. He’s killing himself by killing them.

I always loved the idea the cocky angels saw machines as “mere objects” or as I like to use the term “moving rocks”

To an angel, losing to a machine is like if someone were to suddenly get attacked by rocks flying at them on their own

But during the second phase of Gabriel’s fight he gets full of passion from the fight, like being in the zone because he’s never had a challenge before

I love how V1 is also unintentionally destroying heaven in the the process of killing everything in hell, what even is his objective anyway?

I like to imagine this song as representing v1 and Gabriel fighting. The instrumentation tugs back and forth fighting each other for space and volume just as v1 and Gabriel fight for survival. The lower guitar and drums represent v1, often quieter but every-present and extremely fast. Gabriel is represented by the organ and higher guitar/angelic sounds. As they fight the music trades between the dominant sounds while v1 and Gabriel trade blows. Listening to this song with an intense back and forth between the instruments in mind is life changing.
