Hannah, your comment about flavor and nutrients in smaller veggies made me think of the book The Dorito Effect. It’s all about flavor and how our food and tastes have evolved with the increase in processed foods. I learned so much and could not stop talking about it for weeks after! Really recommend!

I love how easy and accessible this breakfast is! Bread you can pre-cut and keep in the freezer, chickpeas from a can that can be pre-made, and it looks delicious too.

couple of questions!

do you plan your meals first and then shop accordingly? or do you just buy the fresh produce and create meals on the go?

also would you be willing to mention how much that food shop would typically cost? i’m looking to move over to organic but it would be good to know what i need to budget to do so :))

I love watching these videos of yours, I'm terrible at eating healthy and I feel like eventually I'll know how to make healthy food from all the healthy food inspiration I see on your channel. I used to eat really healthy and lost all that after 4 pregnancies and it's harder than I thought to pick up from where I once was so thank you for all the recipes and food inspiration in your vlogs 😊

Hannah cold soup on a hot summer’s day is delicious you should try it! I’m like you i ❤ soup. I make courgette, fennel, watercress, leek, spinach sauted til softened, add a stock cube, when cooked turn off and add basil and mint with a clove of garlic. Blitz in your blender and it’s like vichissoise, the French cold leek soup but super green and fresh and the fennel in it is just 😋 it’s like a big hug for digestive system

I watched a Masterclass course with Yotam Ottolenghi last week and he advised making your own chickpeas, if you have the time (who does?!) or buying the glass jars, the ones you get in Waitrose for example (they do organic too). The texture is different ☺️

Really useful vlog, I do eat a lot of what you do. I’ve started adding walnuts, almonds and pistachios to my porridge with berries.
Are the broccoli seeds widely available in most supermarkets? Like the idea of them.
Really helpful to see you actually cooking the recipes.

Wonderful video, living in Italy and seeing all these wonderful vegan options that you have in your local supermarkets. Italy is way behind and I am really jealous. Wish I could do grocery shopping like you do. Will however try the breakfast you showed by adding some chickpeas to my avocado bread, looks delicious. Thank you.
