How to Connect Your Google Pixel Buds Pro to Your Phone

Before you jam out with your Google Pixel Buds Pro, you’ll need to connect your buds to your phone. We’ve got you covered.

✅ Make sure your phone is unlocked and that BluetoothⓇ and location services are turned on¹
⚡️ Open your charging case and tap the notification that appears on your phone
📱 To pair additional phones, press and hold the pairing button on the charging case for three seconds or until the white status light pulses
✅ Go to BluetoothⓇ settings and tap “Pixel Buds Pro” to connect.
🎶 Cue up your favorite playlist and get ready to jam²

Got these after I purchased the Pixel Watch 2. These were a dream to setup in comparison!

Just received mine and it was very easy to connect except for the part about connecting from within the box. Mine gave me an error "Pixel Buds keeps stopping" and it crashes on Open Pixel app. So I had to connect the usual way which is pair like any other earphone and it worked. I also couldn't set-up the Google Assistant as the set-up kept crashing. I am using the Pixel 6 Pro btw so this surely is a bug issue and a quick fix.

Disappointed y'all don't actually have an app like Sony or Sennheiser do for their ANC earbuds. Would have really liked to have the EQ and Transparency mode custom settings.

Just got this and hope Google sees this.
When opening the app I get " Pixel buds keeps stopping" box when i click on Open pixel buds ( to change settings) it just crush the app and wont let me access settings.
ATM I have no way to access the pixel buds setting.

I am very disappointed in my pixel buds pro. They are currently in a drawer collecting dust because I cannot use them. First things first, I connected them to my old phone with no problems however, I have a new phone Pixel 6a, tried to connect them to my new phone and I cannot. First of all I am blind so I can't even tell if the lights are pulsing or not, second of all you guys say there is a pairing button on the case, there is no pairing button on the case I examined it I cannot find it to save my life. Also, I even have someone who can see look because I thought maybe I missed it somewhere, nope, no paring button at all. Very disappointed in this product I don't think it's accessible for blind users and I will be telling my friends that because I can't get them to pair to my phone at all. Also I don't like the design either. They keep falling out of my ears they will not stay in, so yeah this product is very disappointing. I don't know where else to put a review I don't know how to contact you guys and let you know directly but the pixel buds pro is not working for me.
