She was probably the greatest female composer of the 20th century. (IMO) Her prolific output encompases several modern styles, includes symphonies, concertos, sonatas, string quartets, etc.. Her orchestration is impeccable in even the more complex, avant-garde works. I did a weekly classical music show on my local public radio station for 35 years with an emphasis on 20th century music (the earlier periods being well covered by other programmers). Grażyna's music was a frequent feature on my shows. She is an under-appreciated wonder.

Not musical at all...just scratchy, nerve jangling noise! The violin is capable of playing such beautiful melodies, why this horrible sound?
