Nicely stated the costs of implementation, subscriptions and per user can be astronomical and a shock to organizations versus what they were "marketed/sold". I give Workday a lot of credit, they have marketed their product very well but don't be fooled, it does not eliminate resources because of the automation it actually has created a need for additional resources and cost based on my experience. I like the product as well as others but organizations thinking about purchasing need to ask other organizations that have the product their "real" experience with the product, not just the "Rainbows and Unicorns" input.

From a nearly 10-yr user of WD, this video is SO important for anyone considering it. We don’t call it “Work-all-day” for nothing. For example, the capability for reporting is just not efficient-we end up manually managing so many reports and data externally. And if there’s a problem, our IT admin has to submit the issue to WD and hope we get enough “votes” from other users experiencing the same issue. We end up with workarounds that end being permanent procedures because there’s no possible fix. Limited, frustrating, and often unreliable.

On a positive note, it’s UI is nice, and there’s more transaction transparency compared to our legacy system. What they need to do is cut out the sales and put more resources into useful solutions.

Besides the fact that it glitches constantly, puts in more pointless sign-off issues than Vista, is one of the least intuitive softwares of all time, and requires constant re-uploads of the same information over and over and over. This is all before getting to the recruiting functions which turns a 40 to 120 minute hiring process with an employee to them putting in over 5 to 6 unpaid hours of paperwork, and also it doesn't communicate well with them. Many of my hires, due to glitches, especially with login issues, take over 3 weeks to process. Keep in mind, for most of my workers, they are starting out as a basic sales associate. By the time they finish workday hiring process, often they have found another position elsewhere with a better/less terrible recruiter.

These systems are implemented for the benefit of HR and Accounting… it is not for the benefit of your employees. From an employee perspective, it sucks. What business are you in??? HR??? It does nothing to help your employees serve your customers. It frustrates employees.

Workday and partners. Multiple organizational and integration issues and not secure. And not good (Accenture and otter involved. Service Now is deceptive too
