Tested elixir yesterday in a shop at around 2pm, it’s now 30 hours later and I can still smell a pretty strong trace of it on my arm. The longevity is real.

Totally agree with the classification!
I've tried them all but I ended up buying a 200ml bottle of EDP. Elixir got in the 2nd place but it was lacking the freshness of the EDP. Living in a warm country like Greece freshness comes handy. The best use for the EDP is summer evenings and nights.

Elixir is #1 for me by far. I got a free .3 oz of EDP with my purchase of Elixir from Macy's and I like it a lot more than the EDT, but there's no way it surpasses Elixir for me. Maybe it's the time of year because it is fall/winter at the moment, but I absolutely love Elixir and it's the first fragrance that I want to get a second bottle of before the first even runs out.

Got the edt first and loved it. Got the elixir last week and wow. Living in cold weather it's awesome. But now on my way to California for a few weeks and left the Sauvage at home and brought the Cedrat Boise with me for the SB party. Elixir is my favorite Sauvage

Sauvage elixir smells the best to me and it’s beast longevity. But I have gotten the most compliments from any frag I my collection from sauvage edp. Around 70 frags.

I gave up. I bought Elixir yesterday. It's amazing. Not something I would wear everyday, but it's a whole new level. And I did not really like any Sauvage before. Never considered buying it.

Rarely disagree with Ashton but VCS is massively slept on. The whole Sauvage line is great but personally believe the Parfum is redundant

I tried the parfum but I find the EDP more fragrant on my skin on a humid Japanese summer 🌞. Thanks for that in-depth review.

I never really liked the Sauvage DNA, was always more of a BDChanel dude. However, BDC EDP doesn't work on my skin, the incense note is too pungent for me- and so is the EDT- so I switched to Gentle Fluidity Silver (love it). However, after trying the Sauvage Elixir- man this fragrance is a masterpiece. This is the best Sauvage flanker Demarchy retired with. Definitely a keeper and the best in the line. Elixir > Parfum > EDP > EDT > SPRAY. I guess I'm just a sucker for the sweet scents.

Completley agree edp is the best smelling of the bunch. You are probably the only reviewer who agrees on that. Also they should have put Cool Spray in the typical Sauvage bottle and named it Sauvage Sport. Guarantee it would be insanely more popular. Plus the performance is even better for a lot of guys than the EDT even is.

Sauvage in general is a lady killer to the fullest, mass pleasing to the fullest and I love it to the fullest. The EDP and EDT have gotten me insane amounts of compliments since back in the days of me not even wearing cologne regularly. The only Sauvage that isn’t so appealing is the Parfum. But the Elixir it is unbelievable I absolutely love it and it lasts forever. No literally.

Joined late on the Dior Sauvage wagon (I used to wear Versace Eros and Diptyque line) and I really love the EDP! It's really what the he described in the video - like EDT but it's more well-rounded, smooth, and rich / full, although the projection is probably less stronger than EDT. One thing I'd note is that it's very smooth and it's pleasant to smell, so it doesn't sting or cloying on the nose as I wear it through the day.

I agree with this list. I tried the de parfum and the parfum. Parfum started off better smelling but 7 hours in You can barely smell Dior parfum, but de parfum still smells great and lasts longer than parfum. I recommend getting de parfum because in my opinion the flavor is balanced

I stick to 6 fragrances that I rotate, aqua, Jean Paul, dolce, Y, but my respects to EDP I have gotten many many compliments with EDP to the point that I wear it on a daily basis !!!

Dior Sauvage is like Drake. You want to hate it so bad cause everybody knows it, but then you listen/smell it and you realize you have no choice but to join the bandwagon
