In Spectre of the Gun, Spock mind-melds with Kirk, McCoy and Scotty to eliminate all possible doubt that the bullets were, in fact, unreal.

This was a brilliant use of mind-meld as a way to escape what the episode carefully lays out was an otherwise impossible situation. And they would be forced to fight the Earps and Doc Holliday.

And surely all die since they were obviously not expert gunfighters.

Enjoy and agree with most of your points.

Are we to ignore Spock's revenge (punishment) meld with Valaris in Star Trek VI: I mean he practically "assaults" her mind getting her to confess -- even though he gets little information out of her. Scotty's horrified expression says volumes for the humans watching in the audience.

Hey! Don't knock it! I start every day with ten minutes of mind meld and speculation and I swear by it...

I have a much higher regard for "Devil in the Dark". One of the better episodes and Spock was able to bridge a species divide.

Good Morning Dustin Your list is good I do think that Voyager had the Darkest Mind Melds for sure. I agree with most of the List I don't see the how any Machine con connect with a Vulcan BUT THIS IS SCI-FI
