Seeing the inside of Nessus in the third battleground gave me the creeps. I threw a grenade down to confirm what I was seeing, and it just gave me even more cosmic dread

You know, memories are related to Darkness, and Darkness is paracausal ie beyond causality and time. I imagine being able to predict the future like with the OXA or what the Psions do, rather than pure simulation with the Vex, is analagous to reading the memories of the future, and because of the Light it results in different branches and possibilities.

Which is probably why the research on the Veil is relevant and was mentioned.

What the Conductor plans to do with the Vex and humanity sounds worrying similar to what the Pentitent faction of the Precursors ascribe to.

From what i'm understanding Maya might be trying to do what osiris did for saint. Finding a way to renight her, her love, and to rewrite history. But using a machine specifically desiand what I understand better than the Sun dial. And you took it interest to saint because he's technically the only Successful attempt known.
