"Why piss around?" indeed, Wayne. Since my aging eyelids have become hooded I have gotten super frustrated that I have less lid on which to put shadow, so I woud never use 7 shadows! I sometimes watch other tutorials and then think "Nope, not gonna do that." Thanks for keeping it simple. I think simple looks better on me, anyway, as I have aged.

I've thrown away all my complicated eyeshadow palettes and use a blush and highlight compact for eyeshadow now. Along with tight lining it's all my eyes need. Thank you Wayne.

Love this video. I'm 40, have hooded eyes and sometimes really struggle with my skin moving and I end up with droopy eyes instead of more open lifted eye. This video is 'fool' proof and not overcomplicated. So thank you 👌😊

I've been using the tissue trick for years, no one mentions it but it's fantastic for hooded eyes and down turned eyes as well. Good job on this simple but very effective tutorial

loved what you did here, the over 40s kiss method on hooded eyes. I'm going out tonight and I'm going to do this, hopefully i can nail it and my eyes are crepey too, but I won't know unless I try.
also when you said you saw something about 7 eyeshadows I thought I was ludicrous, we have less area to work with as it is and absolutely no one wants complicated make up especially when you're mature. so thankyou Wayne for keeping it real, and knowing what we really want, bless ❤️

Thank you for this! My eyes have always been very hooded, and now that I’m 52, they’re getting more hooded seemingly by the minute! I don’t have time for a lot of steps, but I have to wear eye makeup so I don’t look washed out.

As an aside, this video was remarkable for demonstrating how much difference lashes make, as the pupil of the eye reflects whatever is on the lashes. Your left eye with the lashes really popped! It looked darker but at the same time brighter, if that makes sense.
