The fact the CPS and Police failed for so long to respond despite neighbours warnings and fears is proof our system to protect victims is extremely flawed.

It's not an excuse. My dad received beatings as a kid. His blood was literally on the walls after his dad was done with him... And my dad didn't beat us and rarely even raised his voice. If you know that something hurt you then why do it to someone else as well? It's evil.

Why is the father not arrested? He knew. He overlooked it. He excused it. He allowed it.

My heart stopped when she said she was going to cut off the head of the plushie. As a child my greatest comfort and happiness came from my little teddies and stuffed toys. My mum stitched their eyes and paws back when they got damaged, and loved them just as much as I did. I can't imagine treating my own child like this. It's disgusting how much parents are allowed to get away with.

If you have someone who doesn’t want their identity to be known.. stop asking them questions about themselves. They’re there to talk about Rubi not give away their identity.

ALL family vloggers need to be cancelled! Exploiting your children for clicks is wrong!

These women need to be in jail for a very long time. Thank the judge for giving NO bail.

Wow. I can't believe this woman thought it was okay to treat her children like that. I'm glad this is coming out!

My heart goes out to this victim. Please let her know that she is brave and deserves gentle, loving treatment. I wish her peace and healing.

The things this family did and put on video makes you wonder how bad the stuff was that was edited out and not recorded. The fact that she felt ok recording some of this is wild.

As a grandmother, I find this a disgusting way to “discipline.” I would take these kids in my home in a instant to protect them.

Running in the family isn’t an excuse to harm your kids because at the end of the day we all know right from wrong.

"Sally" agreed to be interviewed anonymously, yet I feel the interviewer was deliberately trying to force details from her that she wasn't comfortable sharing. The whole interview was odd and uncomfortable to watch, not just because of the subject matter, but because of the pressure the interviewer put on Sally.

NO EXCUSES!!! I am so sick of crimes on children because the parents had a bad childhood. Get help for your past, don't take your trauma out on the children.

Physical trauma heals, mental trauma never leaves. This is so disappointingly heart breaking

Its my understanding there were 2.5 million subscribers to her channel. 2.5 million people that felt what she was offering had value. Its disgusting that there are so many people out there watching “family vloggers.” No one is talking about this moronic, depraved voyeurism that society has embraced.

I can’t even fathom being so cruel to my kids. When my son was about two he had a little Winnie the Pooh that he took EVERYWHERE. He loved his Pooh, couldn’t sleep without it, etc. Around Christmas we went to a super busy local mall (made worse by the influx of shoppers) and when we got to our car to leave I realized he had dropped his Pooh. I knew he has has to have dropped it at the last store we had gone to so we retraced our steps to go find his Pooh and thankfully did. I could have just said “I’ll buy you a new one” but I knew it wouldn’t be the same so even though it was a huge inconvenience I did it for him because I love him and his comfort and happiness were worth the inconvenience. He’s 9 and still has his Pooh 💛

Bless this “unknown” family member. It was very brave of you to even speak. I hope you get peace in your life and I really listened to what this family member had to say because it is important to hear. It’s hard to know what to say but other than that family member really hit my heart 💗💗
