The way to organize seeds is to buy what you need... only

I have my seeds in a 3 ring binder and put them in 4 pocket clear sheet protectors for postcards that go in the 3 ring binder. I got a package of 50 sheets on amazon for like $10 and each sheet can hold 8 packets! The sheets look like baseball card protectors but bigger! I organized mine by spring/fall & summer crops and then organized those by type - beans, squash, tomatoes, root vegetables, brassicas, etc.

For my seeds I got a large wooden box and divided it into rows using 1mm thick plywood. I then made markers using cardboard and have them arranged by vegetable in alphabetical order so I can easily find what I need at a glance

I make my seed packs with a sizix cutter and the envelope cutter die with construction brown paper.

I know this sounds crorny but, you could use a shoe boxes, or a recycled almond milk carton cut in half, covered in pretty paper 🤷🏻‍♀️ My yellow Bush Beans have been really prolific this year 😁👍

This is pretty much how I tackle my day, putter around and get what needs to be done done. Don’t ask me for a timeline or anything like that because I will not know IF I’ll get distracted with something else higher up on the priority chain or I’ll just need to sit for an hour to refocus and nurse a cup of tea or coffee.

Most of our seeds are in a binder with baseball card holder. Once I open the package, I put the seeds in a No.1 Coin envelope (2.25inch x 3.5inch). Bean seeds are the hardest for us to keep though, because the baseball card holders are a little slim.

I use military ammo canisters for my seeds (7.62 fit the paper packets well) It's kind of an ironic thing to store seeds in, something that used to store death now stores life. They are metal, pretty air tight and have a nifty handle to carry out to the garden. Also if seeds spill out inside the canister they don't get lost, super easy to get the seeds back in a packet.

Old prescription pill bottles work really well if you harvest seeds and don't have packets for them. The plastic has UV protection that helps the seeds last longer.

Buy yourself one of those coffee cup hot plates ....works great keeping it ready to drink...
I take cold coffee and make it into a protein smoothie for a afternoon drink when it’s pick me up.
