In this video, I’m going to share my favorite herbs for the gallbladder. These can be helpful if you have problems with the gallbladder and you don’t want to take purified bile salts. If you’re not a vegan, I believe combining these herbs with purified bile salts may be the best thing to do.

The best gallbladder herbs:

1. Collinsonia root (stone root)
May be beneficial for:
• Hemorrhoids
• Varicose veins
• Upper respiratory infections
• Relaxing the bile ducts
• Increasing urine flow
• Decreasing the risk of kidney stones

2. Slippery elm bark
May be beneficial for:
• Fever
• Swollen throat
• Decreasing inflammation in the colon
• Decreasing gallstones
• Making the bile thinner
• Supporting the flow of cholesterol through the body

3. Spanish black radish
May be beneficial for:
• Stimulating bile flow
• Detoxification

5 years ago I found out I had gallstones and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. I found Dr. Berg. I am pain free now and still have my gallbladder. Not sure what's going on inside as I don't have an ultrasound imaging machine, but based on feelings, I'm good. It took time and changes to eating habits. I am happy it has worked out for me. I've learned a lot from Dr. Berg's videos and recommend him to people all the time. Thank you Dr. Berg!

Your body needs bile to help break up fats. This liquid also helps you absorb some vitamins from foods. When you eat fatty foods, bile is released from the gallbladder and liver into the intestines👍

Thank you Dr. Berg. Rather than trying to convince people to give up their convictions, you provide good alternatives! I have two questions:

1. Is there a hormonal link to the gallbladder getting inflamed leading to gallbladder attacks ? (They say over 80% of people have gallstones but have no symptoms.)

2. I was visiting Romanian friends when I had one of my gallbladder attack. They made a tea with three herbs. They translated one as “mouse’s tail.” But the others they couldn’t translate. They were green herbs - leaves and stems. The pain stopped within 20 minutes. I wish I knew what the herbs were. Do you know what they might be?

Here’s a nutshell version of my story:

I struggled with gallbladder attacks when I was premenopausal. I was told that only surgery could solve my problem.

Thankfully, the surgeon’s hands trembled as he pointed to images in a flyer, explaining the procedure. That led me to search for alternatives.

I made a drastic change of diet, including 80% raw, and used herbs and three kinds of gallbladder/liver cleanses. I’d feel better for a while and then have another attack.

I learned a few different ways of dealing with attacks to stop them — a lot of work and time, but effective.

I struggled for 3 years where I’d go for a while with no attacks, do another cleanse, and so on. During that time I noticed I would get gallbladder attacks at a specific time in my menstrual cycle no matter what I ate. I have wondered ever since about the connection relating to hormones. I have been symptom free for over 14 years now and still have my gallbladder.

If you have gallstones then drink raw apple cider vinagar everyday and eat as many organic apples you can everyday. Chancha piadrea can help with kidney stones and support gallbladder health. Raw Moringa powder is also a good supplement to add in to support liver health.

Had bad gallbladder attacks for years. I was told that pineapple and sweet potatoes are good as an anti-inflammatory as I live in the tropics and they are plentiful. Also, celery is good for increasing bile salts. Is this true? Love your work and service to others.

Hi Doctor, please make a video on diet plan to follow for those who have gallbladder stones so that the stones are dissolved.

I cured ulcers by killing out the heliobacteria using powdered cayenne and slippery elm bark - 50/50 in two "00" capsules with every meal.
Also, once the bile ducts have been relaxed and the stones made slick on a 3 day diet of nothing but apples, a warm strong-coffee enema will cause the gall bladder to spasm, expelling the stones. The next day you may observe them in the stool.
