Kyoto is probably THE city in Japan that's topped both our bucket-lists, & BOY did we get to experience it. From the humidity, to the heat, & to the rain, we witnessed Kyoto in ALL its glory😅

I am a Japanese living in Kyoto.
Kyoto is not as big a city as Tokyo, but there are so many shrines and temples that it would be impossible to see them all in one day.
In addition, you can visit the Fushimi area sake brewery and Suntory's Yamazaki distillery, which is famous for whiskey, although advance reservations are required, and there are whiskeys that can only be drunk there.
If you like alcohol, it might be a good idea to visit.

Also, if you come to Kyoto, I recommend Shiga prefecture next door. The specialty Omi beef is famous as one of Japan's three major wagyu beef, and you can eat more delicious meat at a reasonable price than Kobe beef.

Nice video, too bad the weather didn’t cooperate. It was nice that you pointed out that Kyoto is not a walkable city, no other vloggers (that I have seen) have mentioned that and it’s good to know in advance. I didn’t think the price for the monkey park was bad though at 600 yen/$4 per person. Here in the US it would have been like $40 per person or more 😂

Visited Bamboo forest In 2014 was so peaceful..again In 2018 but was so packed and noisy just lost all of its magic… can’t imagine how pack is it now
