There is no equivalency here. The documents were returned immediately. We didn't know about the documents that Trump took until the first set returned Under Subpoena in January. We heard nothing about subsequent efforts to retrieve more until the story broke in August. Unless more is discovered, this is a classic tempest in a teapot.

Let us be real, these documents were in a think room, that is definitely different from being found all over the place in a highly visited resort. 1st, the documents were not deliberately taken and kept, they were immediately turned in; 2nd no one had to beg for the documents for over a year; 3rd, Biden didn't hide and hold on to the documents -claiming they are mine, they are all mine: 4th they didn't lie and had to have a legitimate search warrant to retrieve the documents; 5th they didn't have to fight Biden for the documents; 6th they didn't keep finding more and more documents; 7th Biden didn't obstruct. Trump had every opportunity under the sun to have just returned the documents and nothing probably would have became of it. However, Trump chose not to. This is clearly not the same situation.
