Clay find someone who needs a rear wheel bearing done on a Ford Explorer. That will be a real test for these air hammers lol

Thanks Clay. I have bought one as I am DIY kinda guy and can’t justify paying $$$ for something I might use on occasion. I have been pretty happy with the performance of the Chief. Keep ip the great vids.

Awesome. I got the Chief air hammer about 2 months ago and have used it almost daily since. Working in Wisconsin it gets put through its paces. Hasnt been stopped by a seized in hub assembly or brake rotor so far!

Use it for 6 months and give us an update how you like compared to the snap on that’s a real test I would say

I had the chief long barrel and I just returned it today. I had 2 of them in just over a year. It hits hard but after 8 months both just stopped working. So I went to matcos newest long barrel.

I have that snap on air hammer and it is hands down my favorite tool in my box. When nothing else works, I grab the snappy. Love that vids Clay keep it up❤️

I just got the Chief hammer. It broke two different chisels the first time I used it. It’s a beast, it should probably not be on the .401 shank, but should be .498 instead.😊

If you really want to give it a good torture test, go to the closest concrete plant, and let the drivers clean the mixer trucks with them.

I use the Chief air hammer professionally and it's a absolute beast! I also own the Chief reversible cut-off tool and it's a beast too lol!! You can also still use the 20% coupon on the Chief line.

I had a PH2052 since 1997 it still strong as ever. I've so used many times for the real test was losesening ball joint using a pickle of fork and low speed control to loosen striped dome shape allen bolts !! Precion Speed control is key to nothing beats a snap on !!

We were trying to drive out kingpins from the forklift at work... using heat and good old hammer and punch, wasn't budging those kingpins... I recommend the chief air hammer to the boss man so he sent me to go grab one.. the price went up to $139 and Harbor freight didn't have any accessories (hammer, chisel). Ended up getting an 8 inch hammer bit from Matco. I'll tell you, this chief air hammer is a beast !! It took a little bit of time but it drove them kingpins out 👍👍 for the price, compared to snap on.. can't be beat.. another great tool from Harbor Freight!!

Great test Clay but I think it would be a lot more fair if you used two new chisels instead of using it on the snapon then the harbour freight. I am sure when you cut off the first bolt it would of blunted the chisel a little. But great show as always 👏👌👍

This was my idea ! for the price i guess you cant go wrong. I have the mac long barrel and compared to my buddys snap on it hits a little harder and less vibration it has like a little air cushion or something like that . Anyways great video !!

Answers my questions thanks Clay. Thought about a big nasty but the chuck shank is different & I've wondered about that cheif considering it's from Harbor freight. But wow, for the money I don't think you'd go wrong

TTC just tested the Chief, new Aircat, new Thor, and Snap-On and the Chief was pretty much dead last in that group. Performance per dollar, sure. But the Snap-On is made in USA, which is worth a lot to me.
