For those that don’t know Illinois well; this home is very far from Chicago and the United Center. It’s a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour.

The reason why the house wouldnt sell is because of its location, its land plot & the price for annual property taxes. Someone or a corporation has to be devoted to the brand MJ to purchase this home. There is no one going to be standing around the gate as there never was due to its location as mentioned & the home is far beyound the gate and behind some other homes. The land plot again is messed up. New money wants to be seen & heard & this is not for old money.

To fend off the looky-loos, I'd replace those "23" gates with a less conspicuous pair, and I'd transplant them to the rear of the house, away from public view, as a piece of memorabilia to display to guests.

It means nothing. It means that somebody thought the house was worth the price after being dropped millions and 12 years after being listed.

Nobody wanted to buy the Jordan mansion because it is very dated. The glass blocks in the entry way scream the 70’s are back. Do you know how expensive it will be to upgrade the house??

Also, the house comes with artwork that the homeowner must sign a contract that they can’t sell the “artwork”. So what do you do if the artwork doesn’t work with your design plans?? Also sounds like an expensive headache.

Whoever bought the Jordan property is dumb!!
