It cracks me up how everyone is upset at the fact that its not the ps5 pro version, what did you guys honestly expect?

Like, if you dont want the slim version then dont buy it. Its your loss at the end of the day, you're missing out on a limited edition console thats still going to be worth a lot of money in the future, even if its not the pro version. All because you're upset that you couldn't get the pro.

Also, if the argument is "i dont want it because i already got a ps5" implying that limited edition doesnt mean anything to you, you COULD always get the regular ps5 pro. Thats still available ya know. Im just really tired of seeing people trashtalk the ps5 slim limited edition just because its not the pro. Have you ever considered the fact that its still valuable for the fact that its "limited edition"?

It's crazy... if Sony just made the 30th anniversary edition a regular product, unlimited, they could probably easily sell millions of Pro's right away... instead they limit it to an insanely small amount of 12k (even though there are millions of long-time PS fans who'd want to enjoy it) and prefer their regular Pros sitting on shelves.

The solution to counter the artificial scarcity, is to remove the limited quantity in the first place. If all people just just demand this instead of defending it, there might be a chance sony will listen.

But, instead of giving the fans an amazing item, they do this whole “limited quantity” crap that ruins it for the people who actually want these things. I’m pretty sure more than 60% of these items were purchased so that they could be scalped.

I'm definitely going for the 2nd try. My first priority is to get the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Bundle for sure. At minimum, I can lead with the Slim version. I don't own a PS5 at all and figured this would be the best time to get the best of it at this point.

Sony could do another limited set for both pros n slims. By doing a numbered quantity but it comes with the drive. And it’s for both slim n pros individually.

As much as I’d like to pick up a couple of these things, this just sounds like an overly ridiculous struggle to get these items.

I’ll go to a couple local stores and ask if they will have any preorder options

I was never interested in the Pro so I'm good with the slim anniversary and if I don't get it I'll just scoop up a cool cover plate and get a regular slim.
