You don't need to buy bottled water all the time, just sometimes. When you are out for lunch just ask the waiter if you can refill your bottle from their 'blue jar.' Giving water is a blessing and anyone is happy to share. Please try not to use a lot of plastic bottles.

Buying your sim card at the airport is typically overpriced. You're better off getting it in Tamil (the tourist hub)

I am planning a trip to Nepal in October. Travelling from Canada. It seems like the medical clinic here is suggesting a pretty long list of vaccines. All are voluntary. I am trying to reduce the list but really want to make sure I cover the main ones. Hep A & B, Rabies, Any recommendations?
