Love the detail of how you made it so that the Foundation tells civilians that the danger is that SCP-096 sees your face in order for it to kill you, instead of the other way around how it really is. If civilians knew that they'd be fine if they tried to catch a peek at its body, they'd get a false sense of security.

When I was 8 I looked at a "picture" of 096, and was 100% convinced that he was hunting me down to kill me for like 2 years. Funny how fast an 8 year old could accept their demise

I think the best way to keep people safe AND the foundation secret would be to show a Class-D a picture of 096 while they are in 096’s room. That way it would run back to the foundation, meaning it could be easily contained.

Someone in my school once used Bluetooth to play this in all of the school televisions. It did not end well.

Edit 2: found it. Turns out it is a scp 001 when day breaks scenerio and not a scp 096 scenerio. My bad
