The quote that he said: "You can't let the system raise your kids" is right on point.

He’s so respectful.
Big difference to men these days!
He’s doing such a great job implementing the right morals to his son. We need more humans like him.

He's 100% correct on social media. People giving themselves away. Putting stuff out there that can't be taken back. The Internet has a long memory

I'm a black man from the southside of Chicago and everything Daniel is saying I 100% agree with. It's funny how we're so different yet so much the same in many ways. Salute to this brother and his growth!💯

We learn more from this “gang member” than from the people that are running this country. And that poem was amazing. Respect

Daniel is a perfect example of why you can't judge a book by it's cover. So down to earth, Intelligent, respectful, obviously a ton of street cred. He could really do well with public speaking. Especially at schools. Great interview 👍

*Much RESPECT to him!!!*

I was totally blown away by Daniel. He conducts himself really professionally. Loved his poetry. He's so well-spoken and articulate in his words, compared to most guys
that come from either the projects or ghetto.

Great guy! Everything he says about females, morality etc is absolutely correct.

He definitely has my RESPECT!

A lot of these chicanos are really well spoken. Behind the tattoos and the gear there’s a lot of wisdom. It’s easy to judge based off their reputation and what you see in the media. Shout out to Daniel, sending him many blessings

Years ago, my family and I were driving to Anaheim. We got lost in East L.A. (twice and later at night.) They were some of the nicest people! They second time, some random gentleman, pulled up to us and (somehow) noticed we were lost. He told us, to follow him and he’d direct us to the freeway, going the right direction. We were BLESSED to find someone so kind to direct us, after being lost for 2 1/2 hours!!

As a recovering addict going through the holiday season struggles, his BEAUTIFUL poem at the end of the video made me weep. I felt so heard and seen and definitely affected. What a lovely human being.

This gang member gets my respect! Not just for his toughness, but for deep intellect!

That poem made me tear up. Most addicts struggle in silence while we judge them without knowing what is really going on. Much respect to Daniel for sharing that side.

Wow, this dude is awesome he’s the first one to ever speak about those things in front of the camera. He’s totally not afraid of saying the truth. Our society is toxic now days.
