Check for danger, find the wound (cut away clothing) and don't assume there's only 1 wound, apply pressure and if bleeding continues try packing the wound, if that doesn't work use quickclot or equivalent gauze, if the bleeding continues apply tourniquet if it's a limb. If it's not then pray while applying more pressure to the packed wound

Get professional training because doing this right or wrong is much easier than my 2 sentence explanation.
