I appreciate this video. I've seen the RSS symbol on websites since I was a kid and I had no idea how people actually used it, and yet I never bothered to look it up. the obsidian plug in makes it super accessible.

I recently started using RSS and it's been really practical. Though, I've had to trim a bit because some feeds are just too overwhelming. Akregator has served me well, but Obsidian looks cool too

I had google RSS news reader, but it died some years back. At that time I switched to "The Old Reader". I haven't views my RSS feeds in a long time until watching this video. Maybe I should clean it up and start again.

Old Opera had a build in RSS reader and used it daily to pick up the news. Recently started using Vivaldis RSS reader and it does YT too, but I use it for news sites only.

I used to use an rss reader. Then Twitter came along and I mistakenly started using it as a replacement for the RSS feed I had been using. Then I dumped Twitter because it became just noise. But I lost my RSS feeds so thanks for this useful video.
