I'd like to ask you, microsoft has hijacked all my vlc files and it doesn't run....do you know how to convert those microsoft media player files back to vlc, or are the lost forever?

i installed vlc from its official site and uninstall it quickly so and blocked it from having access to my firewall and run sfc and antivirus, so am i safe?
