I don’t understand all the hate here. This was a simple and straightforward explanation. Sounded for helpful to me. You’re looking for mid frequencies to fill out the vocal. So, sweep around the eq to find the mid frequencies that help the vocal sound more full. Simple and perfect.

This was helpful. Thank you. I can understand people who aren't familiar with a DAW or audio editing being disappointed. But to get what you want it is more helpful to explain what is missing or what you expected rather than just insult the content creator. This video is fine for me because I have watched more detailed tutorials and am familiar with a lot of functions and concepts. I just needed someone to point me in the right direction and this guy did that.

This was the simple solution I was looking for! Thank you! I mostly use Audacity but have been experimenting with Audition to fix some voice files that were generated remotely for use in video game mod. This saved me from having to trouble my voice actor to redo all his excellent work over a vague mismatch with the vanilla dialogue. Your concise explanation and visual demonstration were very helpful. I'd tried other, more technical fixes, with poorer results. Interesting that the solution to a dialogue problem should come from a musician, but then again, I've been feeling that dialogue can be very close to music.

Bro you didnt even show what tool you used to do that, plus your sweeping for what again, what are we looking and listening for while you sleep, I'm confused, you should be more detailed.

That was a terrible explanation. The Good: You at least showed us the process of sweeping across the EQ frequencies. Sort of. The Bad in no particular order: You explained almost nothing while falling over your words; you had a wide bandwidth while sweeping for a frequency and instead found the range of about 2500 ~ 4k. Not only is that not "Mid Range", you boosted a huge wide range of frequencies instead of the maybe 500hz wide band you needed. You would likely have been better off with Reductive EQ in this circumstance. You told us nothing about the (VST?) tools you were using. I could go on but I'd be here all day.
