How to disassemble these Magnat passive 3 way, home HiFi vintage style speakers. They cost around $1200 for a pair. They use dual 1" inch horn-dome tweeters with model MT 25X-GE 832 NH Art.-Nr. 319 800. For midrange they use 6.5" driver with model MM 188 S-P 485 CB Art.-Nr. 319 810 and for bass they use 15" woofer with model MW 430 S-P 4146 Art.-Nr. 319 805. The Magnat Transpuls 1500 speakers can definitely be audiophile speakers, they give very good midrange and high frequency reproduction. Also they can thump a lot of bass for your home party or use them in moderately low volumes with a great detail as a Hi-Fi setup. Now on market have newer Magnat Transpuls 1000 model speakers.

A comparison to the Wharefdale Linton heritage would be interesting, they have smaller cabinet but much higher quality construction and components.

I have them. Maybe it's a bit cheap, not the best looking speakers i agree with that, but the sound is fantastic.

Unexpectedly, from the outside, these speakers look much more expensive and better than from the inside. The mid-range speaker of the closed type is generally not the best solution, it gives a lot of overtones. Twitter was not impressed either. More or less good woofer, similar to a professional, but sad, he on a stamped basket, and a crossover and a small magnet of a low-frequency speaker, probably speak about the total savings of modern speaker manufacturers.

That was smart on Magnat's part. A sealed back midrange. Why can't more aftermarket midranges be this way?

Являюсь обладателем таких колонок. Обошлись в 90 тыров. Слушаю с SANSUI AU-α907L Extra в режиме директ. Особенность - глубокий, бархатный бас. В прямом сравнении в чистую переиграли DIATONE DS-97C. В тоже время мои уши и мозг привык к хрустальным сибилянтам последних и в Магнатах их не хватает. Диатоны оставил подключёнными к Pioneer VSX 932, в связке с которым, при прослушивании цифры, включении всех улучшайзеров и добавлении +6 дБ по верхам и низам звучат кайфово.

These look fun AF. I would love to battle them against my JBL Studio 590's that were 200 spacebucks less. The only 2 things that would bug me about this speaker here is that they're not mirror imaged. (Maybe I'd just buy 3 for LCR to justify non mirror imaged?) And that the midrange is a sealed back. Sealed backs get distortion when they are crossed as low as this one is and you play the speaker loud. It seams like a really, really well built speaker, It's silly they couldn't be bothered to just put an isolation cup on the back of the midrange. Pretty unique tweeter, I'd love to try it!
