I just bought one of these and need a surface and tripod like this. Where did you get it and does it have a specific name?

very old school, but does not look like a comfortable drawing position. I would just take a photo, then rotoscope over it or use an auto-rotoscoping/outlining tool do it.

is this cheating? I feel the same way about tracing... I'f im 3 months into drawing does this help or hinder me... They are cool as hell and I would eventually get one but I need to train the eye.
